Oliebollen, a traditional Dutch doughnut usually enjoyed during New Years celebrations in the Netherlands. Oliebollen are a dough ball filled with apples and raisins and dusted with icing sugar.
As a family we used to make our Oliebollen on the BBQ during our New Years camping trip, enjoying them with everyone around us. Through these experiences we wanted to share these delicious donuts with the Gisborne community.
